Pet Rescue Adoption
My family and I adopted a wonderful little 13 month old dog this weekend (07/25/09) from Pet Rescue in Bloomingdale, IL. I read the other posts and need to say that this rescue and volunteers are trying to do the correct and best for the animals housed at this facility. I witnessed volunteers cleaning cages, changing water bowls, walking the dogs, feeding the cats, etc.
The rescue manager was reviewing prospective adopters and asking the right questions of these people. She showed great concern for all the animals at this rescue and I believe she truly cares for all the animals well-being both at the shelter and in forever homes.
The little guy that we adopted is in great health and appearance and was socialized with other animals and people. He is a great additional to our family. When we adopt again – we will definitely go back to Pet Rescue in Bloomingdale.
In my opinion – it appears that the village is trying to close this rescue. Prime property for village expansion!!!!
Instead of finding fault - find a way to help.

I'm glad you got a puppy out of that Hell Hole, maybe you should have asked for Chris Max the ten year old that has been a prisoner there for ten years. That's the usual Mo. Be glad you went there while all eyes are watching them that's the only time they go by the rules. Wake up it's a dream......
